Abstract : In order to fight the national essentialism in literature, the collective work to be done in occasion of this meeting consists in trying to build a model of production and circulation of European literature. As the European literary space is ruled by different logics we will structure the research around 3 main axes: Translation; Publishing (European book market); Circulation of cultural ideas, forms and actors. The participants are to contribute, thanks to their research work done during theoretic scouting and thanks to their empirical knowledge which is also apt to illustrate the dynamic (or inertia) of over border exchanges of literary products, by analyzing from closer the way logics of inclusion and exclusion, which are produced by a series of institutions and actors participating in the national fields of literary production, work. Besides the cycle of contributions given by the senior researchers, the young scholars are solicited to present their progressing thesis, to swap themselves with specialist brought together and to knot links of cooperation between them, which can be kept updated via the interactive instruments of the network’s website in the future.
